Our approach

We don’t set analytics or advertising cookies until you allow them. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject each category; only strictly necessary cookies are active by default.

We use Google Consent Mode v2, so analytics and advertising stay switched off until you consent — and you can change your mind at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work the same way. We group them into the three categories below.

Necessary (always active)

Required for the site to load securely. These cannot be switched off.

• __cf_bm (Cloudflare) — tells humans from bots to protect the site. About 30 minutes.
• dm_cookie_consent (local storage) — remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again. Stored until you clear it.

Analytics (optional — off until you allow it)

Help us understand how visitors use the site, via Google Analytics 4. Set only after you accept Analytics.

• _ga — distinguishes users. About 2 years.
• _ga_* — keeps Analytics session state. About 2 years.
• _gid — distinguishes users. About 24 hours.

Advertising (optional — off until you allow it)

Used to measure and personalise advertising, including Google Ads. Set only after you accept Advertising.

• _gcl_au (Google) — measures ad conversions. About 90 days.
• Remarketing and conversion identifiers set by Google when you interact with our ads.

How to change your choice

Open “Cookie settings” from the button at the bottom-left of any page to update or withdraw consent — withdrawing is as easy as giving. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Some cookies are set by Google (analytics and advertising) and Cloudflare (hosting and security). See Google’s cookie information and Cloudflare’s cookie policy.
