We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the public marketing website at doublemenu.ai. The Double Menu product application (app.doublemenu.ai), including account data and call recordings, is governed by the separate terms and data processing agreement you accept when you create an account.

What we collect

By default this website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

• Technical and security data — when you load a page, our hosting provider processes your IP address, approximate location and browser details to deliver and protect the site.
• Analytics data — only if you consent, to understand how the site is used.
• Advertising data — only if you consent, to measure and improve our ads, including Google Ads.
• Correspondence — if you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Why we process your data

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — analytics and advertising cookies, which load only after you accept them.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating, securing and improving the website.
• Steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — responding to your enquiries.

Analytics and advertising

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage and Google Ads to measure and personalise advertising, both provided by Google Ireland Limited. We use Google Consent Mode, so these stay disabled until you allow them, and you can withdraw consent at any time from “Cookie settings”.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, under contracts that protect it:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery and security.
• Google Ireland Limited — analytics and advertising, with your consent.
• Creem B.V. — payment processing and merchant of record for paid subscriptions (on the product app).

International transfers

We and our providers stay within the EU/EEA where possible. Where a provider transfers data outside the EEA (for example to the United States), it is protected by an adequacy decision or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep technical and security logs only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Analytics data follows our Google Analytics retention settings. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations. Your cookie choice is stored on your device until you clear it or it expires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, ask for portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@doublemenu.ai.

You also have the right to complain to the Lithuanian supervisory authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija), vdai.lrv.lt.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
